What is Therapeutic Ultrasound?

Therapeutic ultrasound uses sound waves to deliver heat and pro-inflammatory responses to promote healing in soft tissues (muscles, ligaments, tendons) to reduce pain and increase soft tissue mobility and extensibility. It is not diagnostic ultrasound (imaging).

Can be used as a single treatment or combined with remedial massage or physiotherapy treatment.
